Bombardier underscores innovation at NBAA

Montréal, Canada -- October 04, 2004 -- Jobwerx News -- Bombardier Aerospace will showcase its innovative line-up of business jets and underscore its commitment to product development during the 57th National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Annual Meeting and Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada, October 12-14, 2004.

Six Bombardier jets will be on static display at Henderson Executive Airport, along with one aircraft at the Las Vegas Convention Center, reflecting the company's ongoing commitment to provide a full range of air transportation solutions to customers. The Bombardier Global 5000 is appearing at the NBAA with a production interior for the first time.

The spotlight will also shine on Bombardier's new 8,400-square-foot (780-sq.-m) exhibit at the convention center (Booth 13800, Center Hall). The two-storey structure will feature the newest Learjet 40 demonstrator and will be the stage for an important product announcement on Monday, October 11, at 4 p.m.

"We are continuing our ongoing commitment to enhance and invest in our product family and set new standards in corporate aviation," notes James Hoblyn, vice-president, Bombardier Aerospace, Business Aircraft.

Bombardier Aerospace will host a press briefing session on Bombardier Flexjet and Bombardier Skyjet on Monday, October 11, at 11 a.m., while the main Bombardier Business Aircraft press conference is scheduled for Tuesday, October 12, at 11 a.m. Both will be held in room N115.

The company will also provide product updates on the Challenger 300, Global 5000 and Global Express XRS business jets and host technical maintenance and operations sessions for the Learjet, Challenger and Global aircraft families.

The six-to-seven passenger Learjet 40 has earned a reputation as the world's premium light jet since entering corporate service last January. Currently, 17 aircraft are in service with both Bombardier Flexjet fractional owners and traditional customers in the United States and Europe.

Bombardier Learjet 45 XR: The new eight-to-nine passenger Bombardier Learjet 45 XR, which entered service in June, is an enhanced version of the Bombardier Learjet 45, offering superior hot and high performance. A total of 19 aircraft are in service. This is the NBAA debut for the Learjet 45 XR.

Bombardier Learjet 60: This transcontinental business jet has become one of the best-selling midsize jets in corporate aviation with its strong dependability and exceptional cabin comfort. To date, 274 Learjet 60 aircraft have been delivered.

Bombardier Challenger 300: The first true super-midsize business jet offers transcontinental range and superior long-range cruise speed, combined with a full eight-passenger cabin. This impressive jet, which can fly Miami-Seattle non-stop with a full payload, entered service in January 2004. Fifteen aircraft are currently in service.

Bombardier Challenger 604: This intercontinental business jet offers proven mission flexibility and the widest cabin of any true business jet available today. Certified for civil operation in 40 countries, it has established a proven track record for dependability, reliability and outstanding value, making it the best-selling jet in its class. The fleet currently totals 287 aircraft.

Bombardier Global 5000: The Bombardier Global 5000 offers superior transatlantic speed as well as the most advanced business jet cabin, incorporating the first Ethernet-based Air Show 21 application in corporate aviation. United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification is expected shortly and deliveries are on schedule to begin in early 2005.

Bombardier Global Express: With more than 140 deliveries worldwide since 1990, the Bombardier Global Express is the definitive ultra long-range business jet. Production of its successor, the Global Express XRS, is well underway. The Global Express XRS offers even more range at higher speed, a superior cabin and performance enhancements.
