Cessna Aircraft Company Names Doug Oliver Communications Director Subsidiary of Textron, Cessna Aircraft, has named Doug Oliver director of communications who will be based at the company headquarters in Wichita, Kansas.
Cessna Aircraft Company, a subsidiary of Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT), has named Doug Oliver director of communications, effective Feb. 6. He will report to Cessna Vice President of Communications Robert Stangarone. In this role, Oliver will have day-to-day responsibility for internal
communications and media relations at Cessna Aircraft Company Oliver has more than 16 years experience in aerospace communications,
most recently at Embraer
A native of Charleston, S.C., Oliver holds a bachelor's in journalism from Georgia State University, and worked for a number of daily and weekly newspapers in Atlanta, Ga. Based on unit sales, Cessna is the world's largest manufacturer of general aviation aircraft. Since the company was originally established in 1927, more than 186,000 Cessna airplanes have been delivered to nearly every country in the world.
