Crown Beverage Closures, and affiliate of Crown Holdings, has introduced a plastic closure for bottled water that combines economic 26.7-mm sizing with tamper-proof technology and a triple thread bottle finish.

The closure, called AquaGuard™, is one of the smallest closures to feature tamper-proof sealing. The company also claims that because the product is made with HDPE resin, the closure has no impact on product taste.
