DSM Fine Chemicals discusses possible sale of iodine business

DSM Minera a business unit of the DSM Fine Chemicals business group including iodine and iodine derivatives facilities in Chile discusses possible sale to SQM.

Royal DSM N.V. and Sociedad Química y Minera de Chile S.A. (SQM), today confirm that they are discussing the possible sale of the DSM business unit Minera to SQM. DSM Minera is a business unit of the DSM Fine Chemicals business group and includes iodine and iodine derivatives facilities in Chile. Should parties come to an agreement, then the market will be informed accordingly.
