Successful Expansion in Europe

Marktheidenfeld, Germany -- April 27, 2004 - - ELAU AG is intensifying
its expansion efforts in Europe.
Not at least thanks to the strategic
alliance with Schneider Electric and the establishment of ELAU offices
in France and the UK, chances are more than good. Within a short time,
the ELAU teams in France and the UK were able to gain a number of new
customers in addition to the existing ones. Some machines have already
been delivered and are up and running.
In BENELUX and Scandinavia, ELAU is cooperating with Solution Partners.
What was agreed with Electro ABI, a Dutch system house, in 2003, has
been practiced successfully in all of Scandinavia with our Swedish Solution
Partner SDT for many years. In charge of sales, consulting and applications
as well as after-sales service, SDT plays the role of an ELAU branch
in Scandinavia.
In addition to customers like Tetra Pak and Norden Pac, SDT is also
responsible for the Danish machine builder Schur, which has been a specialist
for packaging machines for more than 45 years and is also a leading
European supplier of mailroom and post-press solutions.
