Eastman Appoints Specialty Plastics Resin Distributor
for Austrian Market

Eastman Chemical Company announces the appointment of Gangus Plastic as the new distributor for its Specialty Plastics Division in Austria.

Gangus Plastic Vertriebsges. mbH, the Austrian subsidiary of Albis Plastic GmbH, will distribute a wide range of products on behalf of Eastman, including:

• DURASTAR® Polymer
• EASTALLOY® Polymer
• EASTAR® Amorphous Copolyesters
• ECDEL Elastomers
• EMAC and EBAC Elastomers
• NEOSTAR® Elastomers
• PROVISTA® Copolyesters

Commenting on the appointment, David Speicher, EMEA Regional Business Director, Eastman, said: “Distributors are an important and highly-valued channel for supplying small and medium-sized customers. We identified the need for a distributor in Austria to better serve such customers there. We are working with Albis in a number of countries and are pleased with their work and attention to our products. We are looking forward to developing a closer relationship with their Austrian subsidiary, Gangus Plastic, to accomplish our mutual growth objectives in Austria.”
