Hi-Tech Mold and Tool LLC expands plastics injection molding facility and plans to add about 150 jobs in Kentucky

Louisville, KY, (USA) -- June 18, 2004 -- Hi-Tech Mold and Tool LLC, a custom plastics injection-molder, announced plans to expand its Louisville facility, adding about 150 jobs.

Company officials said the expansion, which will include an 85,000-square-foot addition to its 60,000-square-foot facility, will result in 150 new jobs with a projected payroll of about $3.5 million, according to a news release.

Hi-Tech Mold and Tool supplies a variety of custom molded parts for the medical and food service industries. The company is based in Louisville. The company started as a tool and die operation.

"Hi-Tech Mold is a homegrown success, providing stable jobs and necessary products," Louisville Metro Mayor said in the release. "This kind of economic development shows that Louisville is a great place to do business and will keep us competitive."
