Husky to showcase plastics injection molding technology at Automotive Day Husky to host a special event at its Luxembourg Technical Center featuring plastics injection molding solutions and trends for the automotive market.
Husky Injection Molding Systems Ltd., the world's largest brand name
supplier of injection molding equipment and services to the plastics industry,
will host an Automotive Day, November 14, at its Luxembourg Technical
Center. The event will focus on injection molding solutions and trends
for the automotive market and feature Husky's full lineup of machine and
hot runner technologies.
Husky designs and manufactures the industry's most comprehensive range of injection molding equipment. Husky will have seven systems in operation, ranging from a 1,000 ton Hylectric to a 2,350-ton In-line Compounding system to a 3,150-ton Quadloc Tandem Index. The variety of applications being molded include a TPO foil insert, a front-end module, overmolded instrument panel and a glazed sun roof. A side trip to a customer facility will show a HyMET magnesium molding system in operation. With one of the broadest product lines in the industry, customers use Husky equipment to manufacture a wide range of plastics products such as bottles and caps for beverages, containers for food, automotive components, consumer electronic parts, and for the packaging and technical industries.
