2006-10-17 News Release
A new peptizer grade for the rubber industry LANXESS introduces a new chemical peptizer that shortens the mastication time and lowers the energy consumption while optimizing the processing of natural rubber.
LANXESS, one of the leading suppliers of rubber chemicals, has added
a new peptizer, Renacit* RUC 9203, to its product range. Its field of
application is pure gum mastication, through which natural rubber (NR)
is processed without carbon black. With its well-known products Renacit* 11 and Renacit* 11/WG, LANXESS already offers two high-performance peptizers in its range of rubber chemicals. These are used primarily in the mastication of NR in the presence of carbon black. LANXESS peptizers are based on a chemical composition of 2,2'-dibenzamido-
diphenyl disulfide with activating additive and binder International abbreviation
DBD Density (g/cm3) 1.4., and are manufactured in the world’s largest
unit for peptizer production in Bushy Park, South Carolina, USA. Find more information about Lanxess AG.
