A66 horizontal machining center delivers

Engineered for high-speed machining, the A66’s 500 mm (20 in.) pallet
has a work envelope which is larger than most other 500 mm (20 in.)
machines. Due to its proven spindle design, superior rapid traverserates
and high acceleration/deceleration times, Makino’s A66 horizontal machining
center allows more use of high-speed machining techniques than machines
typically considered for work pieces that fit within this envelope.
The 20" (500 mm) square pallet has a maximum work zone of 31.5"d x35.4"h
(800 mm x 900 mm) and accepts loads up to 1,100 lbs. (500 kg) with travel
in X of 800 mm (31 in.), Y of 700 mm (28 in.) and Z of 640 mm (25 in.).
And, based on the same A-Series design as the smaller A55 and larger
A77, the A66 can provide up to 30% cycle time reductions over competitors’
models.
