Philips showcases wireless thin client for medical pros The wireless thin client from Philips for medical professionals, reduces their administrative workload, increases their accuracy of clinical decisions and improves patient care.
At World of Health IT 2006 in Geneva from October 10 - 13, Royal Philips
(NYSE: PHG, AEX: PHI) will be showcasing the ruggedized ProScribe wireless
thin-client display from Philips FIMI, which enables physicians and nurses
to access patient data immediately, wherever they are in the hospital.
Using the innovative cordless display, healthcare providers can connect
more quickly and efficiently to information, allowing them to focus on
the needs of the patient.
The ProScribe wireless display (shown at right) is the ideal workflow
tool in environments where professionals work away from their desks. With
its touch screen, rugged durability and wireless connectivity, it enables
