RPC Thor Pot helps pork snack packaging Pastry manufacturer Pork Farms utilizes innovative tub format injection moulded packaging from RPC for its new range of savoury snacks.
One of Britain’s leading savoury pastry manufacturers, Pork Farms has launched the new range as an extension to its core products using the versatile function of RPC Containers Blackburn’s Thor Pot. Comprising mini sausage rolls, mini cocktail sausages and mini savoury eggs, the range offers a convenient sharing solution to traditional savoury pastry lines. Pork Farms felt that a tub format would be equally suitable in front of the TV at home, or outdoors at picnics. Easy access, resealability and a fridge-friendly size were amongst the key criteria. The Thor range is RPC Blackburn’s market-leading solution in food pots. Injection-moulded in polypropylene, their robust, shatterproof design and wide opening ensure safe, convenient handling for consumers. A tamper-evident tab delivers product security while the snug fitting, resealable lid maintains product freshness after opening.
The appearance of the Thor Pot provides additional benefits in terms of branding. Excellent contact clarity enables consumers to see product contents, whilst Pork Farms has taken advantage of the wide labelling area with highly decorative post mould labels featuring the brand’s distinctive green and gold livery.
