A new agreement with Okuma America has been announced in the field of workholding equipment with SCHUNK for Okuma lathes. Okuma America, a world leader in the development of computer number controls (CNC) and machining technology, chooses SCHUNK as the preferred supplier of lathe chucks for large bore machines. With an increase in investments in the oil and energy industries, Okuma and SCHUNK have partnered to offer the most innovative combination of machine, control and workholding - solutions.

To complement the machine advances, Okuma turned to SCHUNK to provide more productive workholding.
