Plastics Injection Molding Hot Runners Supplier New China Facility

Manufacturer and supplier of hot runners to the plastics injection molding industry officially inaugurates new facility in Suzhou China.

Synventive Molding Solutions, one of the world’s largest designers, manufacturer and supplier of hot runners and related components to the plastics injection molding industry, has officially inaugurated their new facility in Suzhou China.

The new facility at Suzhou houses production lines for the MultiZone and KONA XP product ranges, as well as engineering, sales and service departments and will become Synventive’s headquarters for the company’s expanding Asian operations which already includes sales and service centers in Shenzhen and Ningbo, China, and in Singapore and India. “We are looking at a very prosperous future for our Asian operations - the market offers us tremendous opportunities,” says Mark Moss, President Asia. “The number of employees at the new facility will rise to thirty-two by year-end and is expected to double during 2006 growing as more local manufacturing skills and capacity are developed,” Moss added.

Online since August, total sales, including the first systems manufactured at the new facility, are double the company’s expectations. A majority of Synventive’s hot runner systems are utilized by key tier suppliers to the automotive industry, a market that Synventive already leads in Europe and North America. Synventive Molding Solutions will focus on increasing the supply of cost- efficient hot runner systems with a premium level of service and support to Asian toolmakers and injection molders.
