Recirculating chiller is ideal for packaging applications The Thermo Scientific NESLAB ThermoFlex 2500 recirculating chiller unit is ideal for diverse applications in a variety of environments, including packaging.
The Thermo Scientific (NYSE: TMO) NESLAB ThermoFlex 2500 is a new addition
to the Recirculating Chiller Series that delivers a continuous cooling
capacity up to 2500 watts. They are reliable, easy-to-use chillers optimized
for the most demanding applications. “Customers told us they need to boost productivity whenever and wherever they can,” said Eric Gustafson, product manager with Thermo Fisher Scientific. “They need equipment that is easy to get up and running, and trouble-free to operate and maintain.” Gustafson continued, “With those needs in mind, our engineering team designed an innovative chiller platform from the ground up. Customer feedback on the new design features has been very positive.”
These units are ideal for applications within the following markets: Thermo Fisher Scientific has patents pending for many of the innovative features of the NESLAB ThermoFlex platform. Each chiller incorporates a recirculation system with integrated funnel, full flow filtration, and visual fluid level indication for easy maintenance. While most chillers must be taken off-line for up to an hour during scheduled maintenance, the air and fluid filters on ThermoFlex units can be changed while the equipment is running, eliminating downtime. In addition to several new product features, Thermo Fisher Scientific has also focused on userfriendliness when it comes to uncrating and installing the unit. Therefore, the shipping container incorporates an integrated ramp that allows a single person to unpack and install a unit in minutes. Efficiencies achieved with the new platform design provide up to 20%
more cooling than units of similar size and power. The chillers can maintain
temperatures from 5°C to 40°C.
