More extensive services for aircraft, auto and chemical industries ThyssenKrupp Automata invests milions more to expand and develop their leading position in Brazil as a supplier to the aircraft industry and in the auto and chemical markets.
ThyssenKrupp Automata Industriais Ltda. has invested some 13.5 million
reals/5.0 million euros in its Taubate, Sao Paulo, Brazil facility to
further strengthen its leading position as a supplier to the aircraft
industry and enable it to serve other customer groups, such as the auto
and chemical industries, more extensively than in the past.
The investments have been made in a new building and in particular in
six new state-of-the-art CNC lines, which Automata can program individually
in line with customer orders. At the same time, the workforce has been
increased from 80 to 100. Operations run around the clock in three shifts.
