Seven jet aircraft deal for Wallan Aviation

Seven new business jet aircraft will be delivered in 2007 to Wallan Aviation who has also placed an order for 18 additional Citation jets.

Cessna Aircraft Company announces the sale of seven new Citation business jets to Wallan Aviation, Cessna's authorized sales representative in the Middle East.

The order is for four Citation Sovereigns, two Citation XLS, and one Citation CJ3. All seven aircraft will be delivered in 2007. Wallan Aviation also placed 18 Cessna Citation business jets into the region in 2005.

"This order is a result of the tremendous showing of Cessna at the last Dubai Air Show and indicates the strong market for the range of Citation aircraft in the region," said Capt. Saad Wallan, chairman of Wallan Aviation.

"Like the XLS and CJ family, the Citation Sovereign is turning out to be a great success with its large, stand-up cabin, advanced avionics and systems, and its range and performance in a variety of conditions," said Roger Whyte, Cessna Aircraft Company senior vice president, Sales and Marketing. "And for all our jets, our strong global support network gives the customer the confidence of fast, reliable service."

To further strengthen customer support for the world's largest general aviation fleet, Cessna recently announced the addition of six Citation field service engineers to its support team.

Cessna is exhibiting the majority of its line of Citation jets at EBACE 2006, Europe's most important business aircraft convention. In addition to the Citation Sovereign, XLS and CJ3, Cessna is showing the Citation X, the world's fastest business jet, the Citation CJ1+ and CJ2+, the Citation Encore, and its popular Caravan turboprop.
