Fiber-Reinforced Thermoplastics
Tecamax SRP is a rigid fiber-reinforced polyphenylene thermoplastic that
is said to be 200 to 800% stronger and stiffer than thermoplastics without
added fibers. The polymer is noncombustable, maintains mechanical properties
at cryogenic temperatures, and resists solvents, scratches, and abrasions.
It can be molded and extruded into a variety of stock shapes and sizes,
and machined to tight tolerances without cracking, crazing, or deformation
due to thermal expansion, material stress, or outgassing.
