Melbourne will host two major packaging events from 30 September to 3 October 2003, for the Australian Packaging Machinery Association (APMA) and the Packaging Council of Australia (PCA). Present
your products and solutions live and in person at AUSPACK 2003. The event aims to offer exhibitors the opportunity
to meet agents, distributors and thousands of potential customers from
throughout Australia and the surrounding region to attend over the four
days. AUSPACK is regarded as an essential event in
the packaging industry calendar and Australian and international companies
use it as a showcase for their latest product innovations. AUSPACK offers
companies an effective 'face to face' opportunity to sell, generate new
leads, raise brand awareness and expand networks. Over 200 exhibitors will take part in Auspack
2003, displaying around 700 national and international products, technologies
and services relevant to packaging. For visitors, such as production and engineering managers, Auspack aims to offer integrated equipment and technology solutions along the production line to improve productivity and the bottom line, while marketers will have the opportunity to discover new materials, technology and applications that can deliver a marketing edge. "The Magic of Packaging" is the theme for the 2003 Australian Packaging Awards. Sixteen individual awards will be announced at the Dinner, covering: Plastics Packaging; Environment; Family of Packages; Consumer Acceptability; Glass; Industrial Packaging; Labelling; Tinplate; Promotional Packaging; Folding Carton; Aesthetics; Packaging the Brand; Export Success; Innovation and the National Packaging Covenant Action Plan Category. And for the first time there will be a "Best of Show Award", sponsored by the Packaging Council of Australia. The winner will be selected from the gold winners in each category.
